Firefox too heavy?

I wont enable until I see otherwise. I have other addons like privacy badger, uBlock etc so not missing it that much.

Firefox keeps changing the search engine to 'default search' which happens is Bing. I have deleted all other search engines including default search in FF options and it then useswith google(if I select some text and right click/search etc) however it soon changes back to deafult/Bing. Anyone have this issue?

TIP: Turns out if you disable hardware acceleration and increase the process limit then much faster.

For anyone else noticing FF doesn't close properly, the culprit is Greasemonkey's 3.12 update. Moved over to Violentmonkey (which I've been meaning to) and all's well again. Also noticed the rest of my addons have WE alternatives now so I'm pretty much FF57 ready.

Seems a bit hit and miss - on most of my devices hardware acceleration on and process limit 4 works wonders.
