First build in 13 years. Would appreciate some advice!

You can go for this ram if you want. It's good but not really required as the x3d cpu is not as sensitive to latency as the non-x3d AMD CPUs. It's also £30 dearer and slightly taller.
The reason why I suggested shorter profile ram is that with the CPU cooler, the front fan will have to be offset upwards to accommodate the ram height.
Im not sure what you mean? The ram slots arent under the cpu, or are they? I cant see height on the one you suggested but they both looked pretty low compared to the corsair...
Do I need to make an emergency change to my order??? :(

@Ineedhelpplease the front fan may come into conflict like this:

this is very common with larger heatsinks so i wouldn't worry too much about it, you just need the lowest profile (height) ram you can get...

yes, you'll just have to offset the front fan. see above picture.
the phanteks pro xt case has room for up to 184mm cooler/fan height so no biggies.

Is that offset difficult to achieve? I thought it had to fit in a specific manner? I'm a little concerned that I should try to swap it with something else. I really thought it looked like a smaller one compared to many others!

no you dont need to buy extra thermal paste. a small tube will come with the cpu cooler which is sufficient for a couple of uses.

personally I would future proof with pcie gen 5, for fast m.2 speeds now, and fast pcie gpu slot later on, the gen 5 m.2 drive is prettysmall at 1Tb, but all it needs on it is the OS, and there is plenty of room to upgrade, maybe you will reuse your old drives from your old pc too? the 4070super is the star of the show, 'Ive overspeced the psu for later upgrades, the 4070super only needs 700w but a lot of other bigger gpus for 4k want 850w (i'm looking at you 4090, and probably any future gen5 gpus too), and I like seasonic psus 'cause I've never had a problem with one, the mag 850w psu above is a nice price but that is on pre order,
get rid of however many fans need to come out of the front to make room for the 240aio, hopefully only 2 will need removing, , and put one of those fans in the rear, and one of the fans in the bottom, simple old school money saving trick, no need to spend on aditional fans really, not when the aio can do half the job for you!, you might be able to squeeze the aio into the top instead, upto you
