I did like someones comment on here a while back, something like "you have more fun building than actually using"

Will see if that comes true :D

Good luck for your first build.

Just get stuck in and make a few mistakes, then learn by fixing them and next time round you will be all the wiser.

I can see a full loft coming soon.

You need a screwdriver and good task lighting.

good luck, andy

Hmmmm 10-pin? Really? If I'm correct you'd expect a 20+4-pin for the main mobo connector, then (probably on a seperate cable with a modular) two more 4-pins to make up an 8-pin for the CPU. Is this 10-pin just supposed to plug into the PSU? Photo?

Oh you are talking about PSU end of the cables! Well it must go in there somewhere! PSU end is proprietary, and I dont have a Corsair, so my 'general knowledge' cant help. No clues in the manual? Good luck :)

Hey

Can you do me a huge favour :)

Can you post update pics on your build as i'm looking to build my 1st computer also :P

If you can do this i will love you forever

Cheers
Dan

got that wrong, 24 pin to the mobo fine, the other end is 18 pin + a 10 pin, I assume both these are connected to the PSU ?

I would also assume so. According to google image search there is a 10-pin directly above the 18-pin. See it? Plug it in there!

Looking at the back of the PSU there is only one place for an 18 pin and one for a 10 pin.

Although if all else fails have a look at the manual.

im guessing it cost about £1200? if not please tell me :D

edit* didnt see the monitor so maybe uhmmm around £1400-£1500?

Dan will do pics, will be slowish build due to first time and having a family to take care of :D a 2 year old is hard work.

will put the 10 pin in the the slot above the 18 pin then.

Cost was around £1500.

nice looking parts, never looks as appealing when all put together in my opinion but certainly more fun. I cant remember where that plug goes but from memory there is only one place it can go into the psu. If you still need help later i can look at mine / take pics when i get home :)
