Still no luck with this, I took everything out and reseated them back in, still have no signal going to the monitor, have used dvi-hdmi and dvi-dvi and nothing.

Are you connecting to the GPU or the motherboard? Does everything apart from the screen seem to be working - fans spinning, h100i LED on, etc?

what does your user guide say about q code 66 ?
I only have 2 connections, a dvi from the graphics card going to the dvi port in the monitor, and a USB for the keyboard.
All the case fans are running, and the extras I put in, the fans on the GPU are running, the h100i heatseat socket is lite up.
Code 66 - CPU DXE initialisation is started.
When I turn the pc on it doesn't even beep..?

Try taking a stick of RAM out.
When I press the clear CMOS button is turns the pc off.
Tried that mate, still only have 1 stick in as per the manual, the furthers red lane from CPU

it will only "beep" in a speaker is present

Have you tried the RAM in different slots, too? 9/10 times these are RAM issues.
I've tried a single stick in both red lanes, I'll try the black ones now.
Nop didn't change the code in those lanes.
Might give that ago tomorrow, although I put thermal paste on the top and don't have anything to clean it off..!

Check you haven't bent any of the pins on the mobo. Pick up some acetone or isopropyl alcohol from a chemist tomorrow. Don't get nail varnish remover though - yes it has acetone in it but it also has other stuff in it that you won't want between your CPU/heatsink interface
Oh it's fine, and if you're lucky your room will smell like oranges every time you stress your CPU!
Ok guys well I finally got the thing working, it was shorting out via the I/O panel at the rear end of the mobo.
Next problem lol when I turn it on I can access ROG BIOS, it recognises the drive, boot, keyboard, mouse ect, as soon as insert Windows into the tray, it loads to windows install but then the keyboard and mouse won't work..!?! Any ideas..?

Are they KB+M in USB3 sockets? USB3 doesn't always work during windows install, try putting them in USB2 ports perhaps?

Make sure they're connected to USB2.0 ports. USB3.0 and Windows 7 don't always get on without the correct drivers.
