Cheers Halestorm! That worked at treat using usb2, silly that windows doesn't recognise USB3 after BIOS was working fine!

Thought my ssd was meant to be quick! Going up 1% every five seconds, thought it would have been faster.

Windows has loaded but it didn't actually say windows installation complete, does it really matter..?

Did you set the it to AHCI mode in the Bios? You can change it post install, but IDE mode is a bit slower.

Are you able to get into windows ok when booting from the SSD?

Yes mate I'm using AHCI, havent plugged in my 2 hdds yet.

What is ther first thing I need to do?

Shall I update Bios/GPU etc through the Asus site?

What other software do I need to start benching and overclocking?

Go to the ASUS site, and download all the relevant motherboard drivers, if you haven't done so already. Then the GPU drivers.

Generally you're not advised to update the BIOS unless you're having problems.
