First rude abusive customer experience

I would suggest that you (as in your company) would only be responsible for replacing the SIM card itself, any data etc is out of your remit unless you've been negligent in some way.

Chin up and move on, don't dwell on it.
 
I'm glad I don't have to work in a job anymore that involves mobile phones anymore. It's OK behind the scenes fixing them but dealing with the customers is something else. They attract too many of the lower lifeforms of society who barely know how to breath let alone use a phone.
 
My only advice is once people start getting wound up then be extra polite lots of yes sir no sir sorry sir, it completely confuses them and only makes them angrier :D
