Edit: How about a train to somewhere like Carlisle? It wouldn't be much of a detour on the way down.

All do-able but if tickets to cardiff were 100 quid i'd hate to think what carlisle would be like :eek:

What about from your place to Manchester Nokkon? That should only be about £15 at the most. And with it been at the bottom of the A6 I can't imagine it been much of a detour to pick you up from there.

Virgin Trains would cost £25 return apparently. Arriving at Manchester on the 9th at about lunchtime (Prob when we would be there) and leaving on the Monday at lunchtime as well.

I'm actually in Manchester today (later on for the match). I know the train is a lot more than that.
Edit: £32.50 single to Manchester. It's £40 open return though, which doesn't seem bad.

We could surely work something out with that. :).

I put it in Virgin trains online Nokkon, it was definately coming out at £25 return for those dates/times :)





Seems to be so cheap as it's an Advance ticket, booking so far in advance :) No excuses now!

I don't drive, nor am I in the area, I'll be travelling from Swansea :p

But yeah I did mean the M6 which I'd imagine Psymonkee and Windle would be travelling down and almost intersects Manchester which is an easy meet and pickup spot.
