Focus CC3

How about you address post #249 for us? Plenty of reasons not to buy the car you did, and not opinion.
Those *FACTS* could apply to any car on the market now, not just that one that I've chosen.
Seems like some you came on here hoping for praise or to gloat about buying a new car rather than actually wanting valid responses.
Absolute nonsense. I posted originally to find out if there were any known problems with the car as I didn't know, yet all I got was "It's ugly" when I don't think it is (and thats all that matters to me) and you can buy a better second hand car for the same money when I've almost exhausted myself trying to point out that I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a secondhand car.

Thing is you don't really know what you want, which is why you wanted a Renault 4x4 one minute then a Focus cabrio the next.

No, I'm quite confident actually, I was just responding to the person that had asked to see some photos when I said that I'd got it last week. However, responses like "LOL" made me think twice about bothering to share them.

As long as you are happy, who cares?
Post up the pics, there is nothing that can be said that hasnt been already anyway!

Having read the thread, Jeff Lynne:
- Wanted less car for his money and admitted it
- Didn't know what he wanted to buy, and admitted it
- Went against everyone's advice that made sense, and you guessed it, admitted it

Would you please be kind enough to provide links to the posts where I admitted to these things, I'm most intrigued by your buffoonery so I'd like you to back it up with proof.

Gladly.

Here, you're telling us you want less car for your money.

I'm looking at the online brochure for the Audi and yes, it's better than the CC3 but it's too much car for me.

Here, you're telling us you didn't have a clue on what you wanted to buy. Coupled with the fact that earlier you wanted a four wheel drive Renault.

Despite having no firm idea what I've wanted I've looked at cars, sat in cars and driven cars and yet this one is the one that seems to tick loads of boxes for me.

Here you're giving poor reasons going against the best advice and denying yourself more car for your money by giving poor reasons such as

Some horny bird might've got off on the gear stick for all I know.

the previous owner might've smoked his lungs black in it or eaten fish and chips in it every night.

And before you call me a fanboy, I drive a Ford Focus.

Up yours pal, it's my money, my choice. I only ever asked for any reasons not to buy it and all I got was opinion and not fact. It's a car that I'm quite happy with and one that I'll enjoy. Chances are that I won't buy a brand new car again so if I live and learn by any mistakes that I might've made here then thats my business and mine alone.

Thanks for the insult. I'd probably report it if you hadn't made yourself look like such a prat.

It certainly is your money and choice and i'm glad you went for it.

You are certainly right to chastise people for expressing their opinion. Who do these people think they are? It's almost as if this is a discussion forum or something!

So you'll never buy a new car again, and chose your only new car in life to be a Focus CC3? Top drawer my man. Keep 'em coming.

Do us all a favour and get this thread closed. Then go enjoy your spaz-chariot.

Have a nice life.

Why? I'm happy with the car that I've bought.

If I offered you £1000 would you then turn down £10,000 based on the fact you were "happy" with the £1000?

Personally I'm glad you bought it, and I hope you are fed up with it in 6 months and make a huge loss on it.

I'm with you on this, if people are too arrogant to listen to educated and informed they deserve what they get.

All the motors threads like these should be kept and bookmarked for future reference when giving advice, as well as the inevitable threads that appear 6 months later with "oh god what have I done I'm very sorry"

It was you who took my attempt at humour with the gearstick thing as a serious reason, I remember now. In future I'll remember to be deadly serious with the car nuts on a pc parts forum.

And the less car thing, jeez, you're twisiting that around to suit aren't you? That was me saying that I don't want top end cars, that might sound weird but we don't all wants Rolex and Armani suits you know!

And I can't counter the middle quote because as far as I can see what you've typed is just waffle with no meaning or no explanation. I've said that I'd tried a variety of cars that I thought I might like and found one that I really liked.

The sheer fact that I have to justify my decision to people is bizarre.

So your happy to pay Armani money for a Matalan suit? :p

Your money at the end of the day, but why come in an enthusiasts forum, with the quite frankly pee poor arguments that you have, you should have stopped at page one, but kept justifying yourself, which is when people pointed out to you, the error of your ways.

This thread will go down in OCUK folklore, along with portable sun et al:p
