Fair enough, I'm quite happy with my purchase. Thanks to anyone who offered good advice, to those who offered advice that I chose not to adhere to or that that didn't comply with my wants and needs, thank you too.

Ultimately if the car turns out to be a pile of junk then I only have myself to blame, but as it is I'm delighted with it and it's the nicest car that I've ever owned.

No you don't. Because, I haven't replied to this thread prior to me asking if the boot space was good.

I think the problem is this:
1/ You asked about the CC3, everyone said it was a bad car
2/ You purchased it anyway, to prove them wrong
3/ Now that you have it, you're afraid of saying, "yeh you were right"

But, I'm going to leave it at that and not reply in this thread again. At the end of the day as you say it, it is your money.

I'll finish by saying It's a good looking car and you seem very proud to own one which is great. I wish you the best of luck and success with your new car and hope it serves you well. :)

TBH this has got way out of hand now. Ok, i personally don't think buying the Focus was nearly as good as something like an A4 Cab, but jesus, he bought the car two weeks ago! It's not like people can even claim to be trying to prevent him from making a mistake; people are just sticking in the boot now.

Jeff, i hope you have years of pleasure from your car, even if it is not what i would have got.
 
Talk about doing the internet equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting "la la la la la, i'm not listening, la la la" last time i heard that was in primary school, just goes to show....
