Focus CC3

Depends what you're looking for, they're not hugely practical, I found the driving position to be too 'encasing' for my liking for how I like to sit and the car feels huge, even though I drive a Passat.

Is it that it being convertible that attracts you?

I would only go for one with full leather, auto petrol, nav and a bargain price

do not buy if buying the diesel! its not like the 2.0 petrol is exhilirating but the sound the diesel makes!

I thought that the diesel sounded a bit loud by the dealer tried to make out that it was better performance wise that the petrol engine.

Can't say that I thought it was ugly, in fact I rather liked it!

Kappa, yes the idea of having a convertible does appeal but the fact that it's a hared top when not open is good too.

See if you can test drive both, I've driven both back to back, the diesel is annoying to use in a car like this I think, constantly changing gear while the suns out and roof's down, sounds like a tractor, and certainly doesnt feel faster than the petrol.

AUTO for the win on this one!

It's slow, thirsty and.. yea.

yeah i must agree with this, not a very good choice of engines. very much what it says on the tin, focus with the roof chopped, nothing too special about it. but if speed isnt a concern try a test drive and see what you think.

Love mine ;) but I've got the petrol, seriously wish I'd gotten the diesel as the 2.0 petrol is a bit lacking.
I love the look and the feel of it, though I agree the rear is a bit of an afterthought.

I've not had a problem with boot space yet, even with the roof down, there's a lot of space underneath...

because no one who wants that performance will buy a focus cabrio
and because no one who buys a focus cabrio is looking for that kind of performance :p

heh :p

It's a fairly heavy car, I'll give it that, but I find it a nice drive (though not particularly quick) I'm not and old man btw ;)

Thanks Kev, good to hear something positive. Sometimes I wonder if this is a millionaires playground and not a PC parts forum!

I think it's the coolest car that I've ever driven and given thats it'll be the first time I've bought new it's the car of snazzy little car that I'm happy to part with serious money for.
