Probably be Wednesday before she is up and running:D

Not sure how to house her yet she's a bit on the large side @16.5 by 17 inches

The cpu's are C0 stepping E5 4650 QB83 got them @£340 each:D
These should run at 3.1 turbo C2's(late es and retail) run at 3.0 turbo

Board is X9QRi and was a costly £800 when you factor in import duty and postage from the U.S. two european suppliers let me down:mad:.

Coolers are £40 each with non-standard narrow 2011 fittings

The ram is some ecc stuff I had hanging round, will try without ecc but have read that it can be trouble with the es cpu's.
I will reuse a 1200w psu so again no cost.

Hope to have her running for testing by Wednesday but depends on work and if I run into any problems.

I just got some ES 6272 16core Interlagos to replace the 6166HE's at under £150 each :)

Looking forward to see how you get on with that beast :)

I think I might get a nice boost on these new puppies.

Hmmm IL ES should be quite a step up especially on 8101's they just dont seem to like MC.

I have two early(...43) ES IL 16 core chips to go with my Asus 2P but they dont seem to play well with the motherboard so its got some 6172's in it at the moment:(

I went for the Intel rig just for the PPD/W.
