Nice! And kind of freaky that I have the exact same mouse and ozone mouse matt, my Glenlivet, Ballantines, and Bells  are not quite so close at hand though!

Yes you are right, it is the change in team rank for the user, not project rank.

although with enough community pressure changes can and will probably be made in the long terms, depending on the usefulness of actual results.

Or you could just force older WUs on to your Fermi kit! Either way, GTS450/GTX460 should be able to beat a GTX2xxx card on a shader clock per ppd basis. :O

Unlikely, its not happened so far, changes so far have come from politics and cold hard cash.

Unfortunately GPU3 was released because GPU2 WU's crashed Fermi cards so that won't work.

Potential extra PPD?

Yep, it is going into my server! It is a replacement for the current GTX260, so while the PPD will go up, it wont be a massive leap. I don't think I want to risk my PSU burning out by running both cards. Plus I think I will be taking liberties with the leccy bill.

GTX260 for sale soonish. :p

Weird! If it had arrived a few days ago there would have been a bottle of 15 yo Glenlivet sat there too! :p

Awesome. Not only does it mean I can skip some unnecessary calculation but also means I can work out the stomps for new people who have turned up in the stats between runs.

Good work TBag.

In related news "old faithful" as I've just named her has reached 1000+ WU per GPU with no downtime.

I have to say it is quite a run of luck, something I'm not exactly known for. It just seems far more stable than the other system even though the hardware is pretty much identical in both. A faulty GTX295 in the other system didn't help either, hence why it is running 3 GPU clients on 3 GTX260s.

I expect a power cut will bring it down at some point and spoil the run.

Ah well I'll make sure I leave the cell tidy! :p

At least I've got the 10mil Tiffy to look forward to in a few weeks. :D

Speed you should upgrade your HFM 0.6.1.251 is the latest

Nice work on those 295's gawd I remember mine when I wake in a cold sweat at night. :p

Heres mine

Thanks! Very thoughtful I must say! You may even get your deposit back.... lol!

Thanks. I'll take a look at the latest HFM.

LOL! Yeah GTX295s are if you remember what got me into folding in the first place. *Shakes fist* But overall they've worked out pretty well value wise, slightly more trouble than the 260s though. ;)

Quite a credit on weebeastiee-cpu you have there, thats the highest I've seen a bigadv WU. What spec/clock is that CPU as 40k PPD is impressive!?

Its a i7 970 @ 4Ghz sacrificing 1 real core and 1 HT core to the GPU's

I see what you mean about the WU  hope it doesn't die! :(

This is pathetic. My output has dropped from 40k to 24k since the introduction of these new units.
I know we're doing it for the greater good, but it's so demotivating at the moment.

Yep, I can only dream of hitting 50K PPD now, back down to 35K :(

I was considering ditching my 260s and getting a single 460 to replace them, but it's not worth it now.

It is really, you get what 6-7K on a 260 (depending on overclock), and 11-12K on a 460. Well I do anyway.

Plus the voltages :)

I get around 7-8K+ on the 260s, but you're right it does make sense in terms of power consumption.

I'm just reluctant to drop my PPD, even if it is only a few K! When the 460s were hitting 15K it was much more appealing.
