and yep you're right about appearing on the stats page - once the first WU has been credited (usually within the hour of it finishing) then you'll appear on the main stats page and that will trickle down to the 3rd party stats within a few hours

Your stats page is showing 3 active clients over the last 7 days so I would guess that folding is still running on your other machine (I guess at least one of them has 2 clients using HT - I'm not an Intel man I'm afraid so wouldn't have a clue :o)

However if you feel that the vast majority of your points come from the one machine then I guess people won't mind too much if you're counted as a single cruncher. I'll add you for now anyway otherwise I'll forget completely by tomorrow :eek: :p

ahhh yes the dishonoured* Concorde - hmmm not totally sure he belongs in the group although it is quite a testament to what a single dual-core (plus an old part-time Mac) can put out in a week
still I did say that it was up to people to decide themselves so I'll stick to that

Stelly I'll happily add you but I can't seem to find you yet - I have found a Stelly with no team number but that shows no work returned since last year so is probably just coincidence
If you have only just joined then you won't appear in the team stats until your first Work Unit has been returned and credited.
I can still add you to the list for next week if the name is definately correct

there's no need to change the name - just check your team number is 10 and it'll keep the results seperate from the other Stelly

I'm assuming it's just that you haven't finished a WU yet so you're not showing up on the stats - nothing to worry about in that case :)

well personally I don't see that it should be a problem although it is going totally against the "single cruncher" rule - if anyone feels strongly about it then I'll have to stick with that

does this mean you didn't have any luck borging your brother's PC? :(
or am I getting confused now? :p

I'll add you for now (same name as here?) and see if anyone complains

I guess you mean that it's showing 50% max at the moment as it's an HT machine?

The only way to do it is to add another client - instructions are in the sticky
Although it's showing only 50% usage in reality it's more like 70% of the full capabilty and for some of the more advanced work you may find no real benefit at all from running two clients (infact it may even just slow everything down)

The best thing to do is give it a try and see how it gets on.

if it's not an HT machine then ignore all i've just written :D
