Folding@Home News - Attention Single-Machine Crunchers

it's not the size of the beast - it's how much you can leave it on that counts :D

just about to start the news so I'll add you now, I think maybe you've not quite made the team list yet but at least it'll all be ready for next week and a nice bonus :)


Corran I'm happy to leave you on the list as long as you don't mind being classed as a multi-cpu user, every time I've looked it's been showing 3 clients so i think it's only fair on the others


benjo did you want to be removed from the list or you happy to stay?
 
I'll be sure to add you all before Thursday when I'll be posting the weekly news :)

ok everyone who asked so far has now been added - I've already started on adding the names to the workbook so the news won't take all Thursday to actually produce :p

you've just overtaken Matblack who must have got himself something a bit more demanding for his 3rd WU - linky
gonna be a nice bit of competition shaping up here :)


oh and looks like "stex" is having a few stability issues too - the main stats have him down as doing 5 WUs for a grand total of 0 points :o

edit: all added to the single crunchers list - keep spreading the word :)

nope can't see any reason - unless you've changed a machine number or reinstalled windows without backing up the registry key (but then you'd have 8 anyway)

conc reported extra clients showing in his stats despite neither of his macs dumping anything in that week so maybe just a stats bug :confused:

I guess it's not impossible that someone has started crunching under your name for team 10 - that'd be mighty annoying if so :o

welcome - I saw your name in the new members list on the EOC stats, it's goot to have "faces" to go with the names :)
looks like you may have had a bit of trouble with stability at first as you had 17WUs in one day for a total of 309 points (my guess is that this was one completed WU and the rest crashed out very rapidly), however since then you've managed to complete a 364 pointer without problems - worth keeping an eye on it incase it's due to the hotter weather earlier in the week :o

I will add you and iBot now - good to have you both onboard with whatever you can bring :)
 
ok have adeed shadowscotland for next week and have edited last weeks news to include BlackAqua as he's been with us quite some time :)
