Is it only temporary? It would be a shame if not.

Thanks for the kind words. :)

I don't know yet - I'll see how I feel in a few months. I just needed my own space and be able to browse the forums without obligation to look after them or feel like I *have* to be on - it's a bit selfish but we'll see how I feel. :)

Sirius - I'm watching you boyo ;) :p

Nice Tiffy there Mr Shadow! :D

gutted lol, first week i haven't made it into the newsletter since i started folding :(

maybe its time to borg some comps :D lol

I don't think it is selfish at all. It would probably annoy me after a while having to always look out for posts that break the rules even when I am just casually browsing.

I reckon Mods should be able to browse in non-Mod mode :p

Just noticed you seem to have submitted a 14 point wu recently, which suggests an unstable pc...

I suppose its the same as being a policeman, even when off duty you always have to be on the lookout for crime and report it when you see it.

Or his PC has just crashed at an inopportune moment.

Hmm i've never had an eue from crashing, i thought you could only get them from instability, or crashing of folding itself which i've never had happen to me before.

Nope, it is quite possible to have an EUE from a normal run of the mill crash. I should know, I lost two 600 pointers in an as many days due to crashes caused by me :D.

Did you get points for them though? Normally if a WU corrupts because of a crash the client doesn't have anything worth sending. :o
[Touch wood] I've not had one for quite some time so things may have changed on that front

No points that I know of. Especially annoying as one was at about 97% :(

i can see you in the newsletter :)

hurrah! i completly missed that (that'll teach me for skimming over it instead of reading it properly)

my pc's totally stable as far as i know (its all at stock speeds and has been all of its life pretty much lol) but had some dodgy stuff goin off with F@Hmon lately. when wu's finish a new one downloads it shows it as a 600 pointer, then when i come back later it seems to have changed to a 150 or somethin gay like that :(

Check through all the logs... it magically changing to a different WU suggests the first one bummed out and has downloaded another.

SiriusB

i've only noticed a couple of them over the last month or so, so it must be a few bad ones like ya said

not a problem, just anoying as its gets my hopes up for more points lol :)
