Sirius you can solve this by using the latest ATI Tray Tools beta (v1.2.6.949) and in the overclocking tab select "Driver Level" as the overclocking method.SiriusB said:X1900XT @ 3D clocks [though often ATI Tray Tools reverts back to 2D for some reason]

3700+ @ stock
1.6GHz Celeron - part time only.
4 x P4 machines, anywhere between 2 and 2.6GHz lol
Upgrading to an E6600 by Christmas, to replace the 4400+. The 4400+ may find its way into my file server or may replace the 3700+.
One of the P4 owners is getting his E6400 machine in a few weeks, so will see a boost there [his current PC is being given to his dad, so it may carry on crunching]

Don't be a pansy, give it 1.55 or 1.6 volts and get some proper speeds out of herdivine_madness said:I'm happy now. Though 2.5GHz looks mighty nice
joeyjojo said:What have you currently got in terms of cooling? Might be worth getting a cooler (<£30) and getting another few hundred mhz. Never know, might be an immense chip and do 3 ghz +
divine_madness said:pair of 120mm drawing in at front and exhausting at back, 80mm intake at side blowing over CPU area, stock HSF arrangement, and I think two 80mm in my Tagan, but I doubt they achieve much...
I am proper skint though at the moment, as in I actually have just £1.24 in my account and a £20 in my pocket
Might put away some pennies and see if I can afford a Ninja or something similar in a month or two

That wouldn't fit my S939 A64 would it?
Would I need Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940) instead? (and £16 is far more appealing than £35)
I think they come with some (maybe pre-applied) - mine was 2nd hand so I just used some Akasa stuff I had sitting around (seems to have done the job anyway)divine_madness said:I'm guessing they won't be generous enough to supply me with a bit of TIM would they? I'm gonna need some AS5 too...
Thermal Compound
We ship our coolers with the ARCTIC MX-1 thermal compound. This compound hardens during the first 200h while the performance improves steadily. With heating up the paste / heatsink the process can be shortened. The performance is even from the beginning good enough to cool your CPU reliable.
