 Amazing what an additional dual xeon can do to your production :D

Thanks for the news as ever Rich. And what fantastic team stompage!

We might be able to be 33rd by the new year if all goes well! Awesome!

Excellent effort from the team this week  Keep up the good work.

Not a bad week from me. Have been in Lanzarote for a week of well earned relaxation, I am now at my parents in Shetland, heading home tonight. A quick logmein check tells me that both of my GPU clients are currently idle (presumably rebooted after Windows updates - must put in startup folder) and one of the cores on the 805D is idle because it thinks it is already running (presumably due to another reboot  ).

Thanks, as always to Rich for the news and welcome to the noobs :)

Fold on team 10 :D

Stan :)

Woo hoo, nearly 10k for the week with the added bonus of a 100k tiffy AND a 500WU tiffy. :D

Great team stomping as well. If we push it a little bit more we could have another 3 places before next year.

Thanks to Rich for the news as always.

Thanks for the news as ever rich :D

Tripple team stomp, 100k avg, 8 users above 20K  , 19 users above 10K :) 86 users above 1k :D - great work team!

Very happy with my 11K as my server hasn't been folding for much of this week (major software update by others) and a PC want pop on monday (capasitor on motherboard that took out the screen aswell )

So it must be due to all the jucey WU's I've been getting \0/
On the continued folding front I've a E6400 and DS4 on their way to me :D so the 805 is being retired for a more efficient cruncher and PSU.

What with all this talk of SMP I might just go down that due boot route myself and really up my production.

I'm not that far behind you concorde! ;). Although production over Chirstmas will be down as GPU will be used for gaming hehe.

Another great week for team 10, lovely triple stomp bwahahahahaha.
Lets have another one before the new year! Keep it up guys.

No matter how hard i try i cant get back to 1000 points a week like i did back in the old days.

/me spits at his 3000+ and x1800xt

Well, no chance this week what with all the spare time to play games, so maybe in January when i get Wii

Thanks for the news, wow three stomps in one week awesome work guys!
I've just added a nice fx55 cpu to the list of my borgs :p
So that makes, 3200xp, 3000xp, p4 3.0ghz, p4 2.4ghz and a fx55, not too shabby really.

Oooh an FX-55. Nice :D

I should be folding on the Linux SMP client some time tomorrow [found a spare IDE cable for my spare HDD - woo]

So what kind of PPD could I expect out of both cores of my [email protected], taking into account it is only likely to be crunching the SMP client for about 8-10 hours a day?

I think sculptor mentioned 14hrs at 2.6GHz on an X2 (could be wrong though) which would make around 1000ppd if running 24/7, if running 8-10 hours a day then about 350-400ppd which isn't bad at all for being a slackass :p :D

Well thing is Linux cant do any of the stuff I do on Windows, and I can't be arsed switching back and forth all day. I might not bother with the SMP client now since it wont be running 24/7. Be a small production increase for the amount of hassle it is going to entail setting it up and remembering to boot into linux every night!

Might have to leave it for when I have a second machine.

Do be careful tho as most SMP wus have a 2 day deadline

Indeed - comes as a surprise to most people, particularly to the guy who only ran the SMP client on his macbook overnight and limited to only 20% of the CPU due to the noise of the fans otherwise :o :p
