i have a dual processor xeon machine running 2 x 2.8ghz prestonia's.

now i'm not sure on this but are these processors 32 bit only?
 
Whats up with the stats?
Its every team so i assume something has stopped updating...

Edit: I assume its this. Lets hope this little overhaul results in less server problems in future.

Finally broke 1k in a week again and did it by a fair bit.

Big 50k isnt far away now.

Gonna need some borging to get back into the top 100 permanently.... or maybe even that X2 i've been promising myself. Gotta do something to compete with all you new SMP guys :D
 
Get a Conroe :D

And don't worry about us SMP people, it is only a 1 month BETA and I think that is half way over lol.

Just start worrying when there is a longer BETA or when the thing is released properly :D

I've been looking into running the SMP under vmware client in xp, it runs with about a 20% overhead compared to running it under linux however it will still be quicker than running the XP clients. I'm setting up linux on another drive to dual boot but its a pain running linux as I do a lot of stuff in apps that aren't available on linux. The client idea sounds like a good half way house, only thing that is alittle unclear is if the conroe support of EM64T extenstions will allow it to run properly, I might try it to see what happens. Theres a good thread with details of how to set it up on sanfords forum.

I am hoping with a bump in my overclock to 3.4ghz and the SMP clients running under vmware I should be able to break into 10-11k a week.
