It certainly would seem that way to me, the fact it works ok in another machine is odd though - could be that when in that other machine it doesn't try writing to the exact same part of the disk :confused:

I'm trying to do exactly the same thing to it when i plug it into the other machine i.e installing windows from the same windows cd.
