Twitter is incredibly useful for me - it's a great networking tool amongst other things and was also responsible for getting me a job!

I find the more you use it, the better it gets. I've known a lot of people who have signed up, don't follow anybody and complain about how pointless it is.

Follow plenty of people who you are interested in, and your timeline gets created to suit you best, making it a much more enjoyable experience.

type in the search engine anything you are interested in eg, "gaddafi" and you get real time feedback about them (and what is associated with them) very cool but i dont ever use it to tweet tho.

Not really got that into twitter, maybe if more people followed me I might post random thoughts or things like that.

I did see one person on twitter has this thing that seems to post updates on their location, not sure if that is some iPhone app or something?

Same, I get the whole Facebook thing, despite not using it much myself. Good way to keep in touch with friends and family etc.
