Foo Fighters to play Hyde Park!

i'm tempted but i'm pretty sure i'll have oral exams for university on the following monday, so i think i'll have to miss out. That and i imagine unless you're near the front, the view and sound won't be great
 
Sorry guys, I replied to the e-mails I got before the tickets were sold out!

Just checked my gmail, then checked this thread, and found that inner circle's now sold out! I helped whoever was quick enough. ;)
 
Is this an acoustic gig? I heard that they will be playing the acoustic side of in your honour rather than the other stuff.

No. They haven't announced dates for that yet :) (Not that i know of anyway!)
 
I wouldnt panic, the other sites should have an allocation :)

All up early on saturday for the glasto hammer!

Edit: are other sites going to be selling them or is it just SeeTickets?

nah they will all be selling them ticketmaster, aloud, gigsandtours etc

Though it always seems to me that seetickets & gigsandtours all use the same allocation (or are the same company?) as they always seem to sell out at the same time and aloud and ticketmaster are now one and the same as well!

have them all open anyway and I reckon everyone will be alright ;)
 
right from the foo fighters message board the final lineup is (according the to poster apparently):

Foo Fighters
Motorhead
QOTSA
The Subways
Hot Hot Heat
Taylor Hawkins & Coattail Riders (must be his own band!)

So 5 supports and the Foos for £50 quid a bargain I must say, the chilli peppers charged that much for 2 supports (one of which got bottled off!).

edit: this has since turned out to be ******** so ignore, only Motorhead & QOTSA been announced but the Subways are apparently likely

Got there at 8:59 - inner circle available... by the time I'd filled in the form (09:02) - They'd gone :(

General adminssion for me then :(
 
If I cant get the circle I'm not bloody going. I was at the front of the general area for Live 8 and it was like watching a pocket TV that someone was holding up 10 miles away.

Ticket Master stopped people resfreshing the page more than 5 times in a row, but luckily i used Google's cached page utility. Most of the other sites wanted some lengthy registration process. Only 3 sites actually had inner circle!!!!

I can only hope they announce a second tour date i.e. Sunday and maybe i'll have more luck.

As for now i'm off to play CS:S to vent my anger.
 
Not being funny or anything but if you were so desperate for inner cicle why didn't you sign up for the mail list which gets you immediate access to pre-sale tickets? They had them up until thursday night.

I went for general admission as to be honest I've go not interest in getting crushed etc. If I can hear them and see a big screen thats good enough for me. If I want to "see" a band then I go to somewhere a little bit smaller like the NEC or something.
