oh I do like to be beside the seaside
I can’t find any pitta breads in any supermarkets atm, last week it was whole chickens.

Anyone else come across this?

You now need to go to every supermarket and stash as much food as you can. If anyone gets in your way, start a fight and hope someone records it for TikTok. Don't let anyone get in your way, take no prisoners.

Can't remember the last time I saw a whole chicken, our supermarkets always decapitate them.

Stock's been weird for a while.

There are regular gaps in various products, but I've literally checked for Tesco own brand kitchen foil every week for at least two months, and it's never been in stock.

I'd poppadom to another supermarket and check there.

Can always buy better quality from the local take-away.

A huge supermarket filled with food from all corners of the world, but missing pitta bread is a mark of food shortages?

Wilko was half empty the other day when I went in... not food but still.

I was looking for kitchen knives they had none just empty spaces on the shelf, half the store looked like that

Aldi my friend. It's ten times better, cheaper, and always, always in stock.

Aaaaaaalddiiiiiiii, where you can get some foil and a chainsawwwwwwww
Aye, I'm using Aldi. The Tesco thing has become a regular part of my shop now, though. Mind's just boggled that it's never in stock, just always a gap.
