Milk where I live went from £1 per 4 pints to £1.80 per 4 pints.
£2 for 2x (Before)
£3.60 for 2x (After)
What this meant was instead of people buying 2x 4 pints people just got 1.
Just means less milk been drank that’s all. Reduction of tea and coffee.
About £11 of a 1 litre bottle of spirits is duty, which is a flat rate and unaffected by inflation.

That’s England prices. Scotland, have minimum alcohol duty based on units. Am I right a 3 litre bottle of White Lightening is £11 in Scotland? About £4.50 in England.

No j-cloths and kitchen sponges at my work yesterday. Customer thought it was the end of the world! I mentioned Wilko has them (a three min walk). She wasn’t impressed
