Food you hate

My only dislikes are parsnips,

This. I'm not a fussy eater and I'll have a go at pretty much anything. Parsnips are the only foodstuff I can think of that I truly detest - to the point that, if I were given the power to eradicate one item from the foodchain, parsnips would be no more :p

Can't stand raw celery either. Love the flavour of cooked celery though (celery soup is one of my favourites). I think it's the texture as much as anything else.

I dislike most seafood/fish. Except cod, haddock and tuna.

The worst thing for me though is cheese. I can eat what I'd refer to as normal cheese on pizza (ie cheap bog standard stuff) but I can't stand the speciality stuff like Stilton etc. And I can never eat cheese raw. The texture alone makes me want to vom. Even just touching it. And if melted cheese goes solid it has to be nuked in the microwave to make it gooey again. :o

Apart from that I will eat pretty much anything.

This is going to seem like quite a list, but I will try pretty much any food at least once. As I've travelled quite a bit and lived in a few foriegn countries I've tried a lot of different foods. Despite finding these hard work to eat, I will still eat them if it's given to me though (e.g. if I went to dinner at someone else house).

Celery - in any shape or form
Olives - whole olives only, I love oilive oil
Coconut - really dislike the texture and flavour
Coriander - the green leafy stuff, seeds are fine. It tastes like soap/detergent to me
Liver - Horrible texture but love it as Pate etc.
Pears - Horrible gritty texture, but as puree or smoothie it's nice

Pate?! I can't stand Pate! meat should be ripped from the bone of an animal, not speadable!

Just like cheese should be sliced/grated or melted, not come in a can!

Has to be Cauliflower, the smell is repulsive and the flavor overwhelms anything it touches on the plate. Sprouts and Beetroot have to be up there as well.

I'm okay with all the foods mentioned so far. In fact, they seem to be a good list of ingredients to mix up a little for a meal :)

I just finished watching Man Vs Food, would love to try some of those foods he attempts.

Most types of cheese.

Celery.

Raw peppers.

Sardines (like the taste, just hate all the tiny bones which are hell bent on choking me to death)

EDIT: Liver (I don't like the texture of it, the taste is... OK...) or Kidney (a really strong, bizarre taste and weird texture too).

Spinach and Kale (they taste GREEN! - I know that's bizarre but they do. Think it's that Iron-y sort of flavour that I don't like).

I forgot about celery! Raw = no. Cooked = will eat, but grudgingly. I have a few recipes that have it as an ingredient and I just skip it usually.

I know plenty of people that dislike coriander, but I am the complete opposite. It is by far my favourite herb to cook with and probably one of my favourite flavours. If I buy some in the supermarket I tend to start eating the leaves as I walk round. :D

The only thing I've ever disliked is raw celery.

I'm fine with it if it's sliced very thin and cooked in a dish like bolognese, but even the smell of raw celery puts me off.

Crying as a child, so you've never tried them since. Children are also more susceptible to bitter taste.

Some of you. No cheese or mushrooms  ah well more for.

Kidney on its own I find to strong. Fine in things like steak and kidney pies though.
