Compared to us...of course you have...you havent faced Barca like we did but at least we did well enough to beat them in the 1st leg, just couldnt do it in the 2nd leg but i wasnt expecting us to in all honesty.

I'm genuinely interested in what you would do / who you would bring in if you were Arsenal manager, and there is no cloning machine so no multiples of Eboue.
But seriously.
I have no idea, I don't play Football Manager so I don't know what random eastern european kid has the best numbers..........
If I was manager I'd have scouts looking for CB's, DM's, and wingers and I'd get some, it doesn't have to be a big name for 20mil to be any good.
Priority would be DM, clear out the junk, play our best players more, play effective players, get a defensive coach in who knows how to coach a defense, whoever we have now hasn't got a clue.
A solid DM is the single most important thing the club need, I'd be seriously tempted by Diarra but I doubt he'd come back.
The fact is Denilson and Song aren't "ok", they are so bad, that if you get 5 1mil DM's who are 18, one WILL be better than them, maybe they all would be.
So many of our defensive problems are caused when our CB's rush out to get a bouncing ball when a good DM would be covering the space but ours are just doing something stupid.
THe problem is, its Wenger's, not my job, to recognise Denilson/Song aren't even competant footballers and find a replacement. He's paid to improve the team and pays agents and scounts a lot of cash a year to find such players. Or he's not asking them to look for a DM, either way its Wenger's responsibility.
I think any current competant manager would look at any average performance and identify DM as the single most crucial position to fix and go about finding a new one.
