We did well, but energy levels where awful, OShea and Neville both injured tonight...Ferdinand either just sitting it out or injured again

Very comfortable tonight, thought Anderson was fantastic and worked tirelessly, as did Fletcher.
Totally controlled the game without working too hard aside from in the center where we have the most players, so a job well done. Giggs didn't have his shooting boots on though, clearly, he should have bagged a hat-trick

I thought we played well, we just never got fully going.
On another night, those 3 tight offsides might have gone the other way, and we'd have been talking about a 5-0 drubbing.
Quite pleased with the game overall.

Yeah, but this is City, they only turn up twice all season. They care more about "the manchester league" than the premier league.

unfortunately OT has been more like a home ground to City in recent years

i dunno, three offside goals, at least one shouldn't have been, we had full control in the 1st half but let P'mouth play a little in the 2nd half, i wasn't nervous and expected the 2nd goal to come
, though should have been much more.

Yeah I was annoyed at the lack of a replay, I was going berzerk in the pub and then realised it hadn't been given. The Bendtner one I thought was potentially offside (although certainly no worse than Barca's "goal" in the 2006 CL final).
Anyway I think we've blown any chance we had of getting automatic CL qualification via the league, so we'll have to rely on winning it this year to achieve that. Here's hoping we can get a few players fit over the summer to mount a proper challenge for 2nd next year.
He's cuptied in the CL, Arsenal were out of the League cup and don't forget that he didn't actually join the club until February. He had a little injury which coupled with the international break meant didn't make his debut until the 21st i.e. he's only been playing 2 months. Don't forget a few weeks back we had another week with no games due to internationals. Then remember that due to the scheduling of the Russian season he has needed a bit of time to get back up to speed.
