Went to watch Blyth Spartans play in the FA Trophy yesterday, and had the misfortune of witnessing the most inept officials I have seen.

Their number 9 clearly punches the ball away from goal which would be a certain penalty and sending off. Blyth knew it was a penalty, their players knew it was a penalty, but somehow both the ref and the linesman on the near side missed it?

To make matters worse, their number 9 then went onto score their equalizer
