Have I slipped into the twilight zone or did Barton clearly leave a leg trailing so as to not make a two footed tackle. Are we also criticizing him for getting to the ball too fast? I'm hardly a Barton fan but what the hell is going on here?
Elokobi is bloody massive!!![]()
It looked to me as if Barton wasn't far off snapping Diaby's leg in half. I can see why he would get angry about that.
Such a *****.

Its a 50/50 tackle but then again its better to talk about barton than giggs violent conduct![]()
Then get yourself along to the opticians with Arsene. Dear me we all seem to be turning into Wenger-esque foreigners where any challenge that touches the man when taking the ball is a red card omgwtfhorrendoushowdareyou challenge
it was a hard challenge but fair.
It was hardly violent![]()
Yeah I watched it just now on Goals on Sunday and to me it looked like Barton went through Diaby and then eventually got the ball.![]()
Even though the video above clearly shows him getting to the ball before Diaby?
I'm interested to know and I suspect that most who feel that was a bad tackle are under the age of 30? If that is the case it will go to prove my theory about the younger Sky educated generation killing what should be a physical game.

He didn't though. Barton made the tackle and won the ball before Diaby got to him. The only thing Barton can be accused of is going in hard and that's not illegal yet.You cant throw yourself into the side of someone's standing leg, go through them and get the ball.
