Football 5th-6th Feb 2011 **SPOILERS**

Pretty solid performance from Liverpool. Chelsea looked pretty complacent both at the back and up front.

Torres still looks like ridiculously out of form.

Good win for Liverpool; although they won't like being told they did United a favour.

why?

6 games; 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in the league. We're playing far better football, we're in a Europa League place and the club has regained the belief Hodgson tried so hard to destroy. Agger seems to have recovered from the season long injury Hodgson told us he had as well which is a nice bonus ;)
Would be very interesting to see where Liverpool would be if Kenny had been in charge all season. I suspect in the top 4 with a happy Torres still on board.

I don't think most Liverpool fans give a stuff tbh. They want to win it, not stop others from winning. Chelsea were out of the running even before todays game anyway.

Not that Chelsea really had a chance but they were still United's biggest threat imo. This loss all but ends their title hopes. Having said that I thought Chelsea would walk the title earlier in the season when they were 10 points clear so what do I know :o

It was more the fact, records are there to be broken, and i'd rather be more concerned about how are club is performing than how others are doing, anyone winning the league bar us will hurt. (Yes i still think we should be challenging year in year out because im deluded.)

United have earned those titles, largely down to Fergusons winning mentality and sometimes huge luck with decisions, but all champions get them, just like Spartak Chelsea last year.

Also it might break our curse of not being able to win the league.

In the end its going to happen eventually.

Sorry, we have it in the small print that we dont give refunds for faulty merchandise :)
If Chelsea play him as their sole striker he'll come good but with Anelka and Drogba in the squad I can't see that happening. As good as he was for us you only need to look at his record for Spain to see how well he plays with a partner(s).

Liverpool didn't deserve to win, they capitalised well on a defensive error but didn't threaten at all for most of the match. They did defend well though. Chelsea lacked creativity but were denied a clear penalty. A draw would have been a fair result.

Torres was not good and neither was drogba. Luiz looked good for the time he was on.

Yeah, dont worry it was just a joke. To be honest I wouldnt be surprised to see Chelsea selling Drogba in the summer and building the front around Torres for next year.

When Bendtner and Denilson are conga-lining round the Emirates with Premier League trophy, I'm going to remember the lack of faith shown in this thread.

Chelsea, United's biggest threat. Pah.

:D

Don't know why but it made me laugh.

Probably will end winning it if United can't sort out their midfield. :(
