Pains me to say it but the man u result has been coming.

Carrick where are his fans now? I'd say he failed to jump for goal 1 or 2.

Where's bebe? Anyway out center midfield is atrocious.

Why no Anderson.

First I've ever heard of an area being upset because a player has moved clubs.

Do you really think it bothers, Blackpool, Blackburn, City, United fans that he's moved from the area?

I agree about Scholes totally - written his legendary status at the club long ago, but has gone on a season or two too long (some great games in that period but let down by "invisible" performances also - by being asked to do too much too quickly)

Scholes Retire, sell Gibson, buy an AM to play battle with Anderson for 1st team duties with eye on Cleverly to have a cup run and push them both (baring in mind Anderson's versatility) with either of Fletcher- who hasnt played that well either - and Carrick to be given the Gibson role of this season and the other one sold (with Fergie's preference for Fletcher, probably Carrick sold but think they both deserve kicking into touch)

Utd really needed to lose before the City and Liverpool games coming up (and better to lose against Wolves than either of those two imo) , it could even spur the team onto two victories (hopefully)

I didnt know Carrick played as Centre-Half these days? Clearly Vidic / Evans at fault for first goal , and possibly 2nd as well. Dont know why Smalling wasnt in the initial line up to be honest (once Rio wasnt playing). Was a big supporter of Evans, but he really has lost the plot this season unfortunately.

Im hoping for a miraculous recovery by Rio for the weekend (against City) but I have suspicions its a real injury

Buy an am? Sounds like v d v talk to me.

And carrick was the ball side on goal 1 but doesn't head it so vidic has to run around 2 men to try to get there. The center back can't mark the strikers and right back at the same time.

Smalling wasn't named on the original bench so hadn't done any of the warm up like Evans had hence why he got the nod to replace Rio.

So the question is why was he on the bench ahead of Evans to begin with? Probably to make Evans feel more involved now he's slipped to forth choice.

Regarding Scholes I think he'll retire at the end of the season :( Fergie saying that he hasn't decided yet, coupled with him not starting games since his injury and when he has played not playing well makes me think he'll follow Neville and VDS

The one on Diaby was worse imo, the one on Arshavin was a textbook Barton tackle, straight through the back of the man, could have done a lot of damage, easy yellow, the one on Diaby was more reckless, you only have to look at Diaby's left (iirc) leg and how it bends in such an unnatural way to realise he was inches away from a really awful injury.

I realise that (about Smalling) I meant original line up :)

I wouldnt be surprised if Smalling has made more starts than Rio by the end of next season, he seems to be improving rapidly (about as quickly as Evans is going downhill lol)

Still think the CB/Centre-Halfs were at fault for 1st goal it came from exactly where they should be defending a corner (penalty spot) - being the more senior player would have though Vidic should have been there
 
O carrick can just stand there aimlessly in the box and not do anything and its someone else fault I'd have to are it again I guess but to me it looked like carrick was woeful.

Obviously fergie agreed and yanked him off at half time.d

The whole team played badly - its not just down to one person. Carrick is just a preferred target

At least Park is back and raring to go - he may not be the most effective, but he is high-energy and can mark players out of a game. Would be surprised if he doesnt get a start against city

The best thing about getting Park back will be the option to have Giggs on the bench, he really turned around the game at Blackpool when we needed a change, on Saturday we didn't really have any creative force to come on
 
Well we do. Obertan and be be right? Its just that they both suck. And park isn't a creative force he just a body on the pitch.

Carrick makes himself an easy target. Always look at our big defeats he is always culpable in some way. Going back to Cl finals. Bayern first goal at of. No fight in him. He's a dead duck.

No goals no assist in over 1100 premier leaguu minute tells me that my pre season tirade was more than justified.
