Do you write into Sky to complain about slow-motion replays 'giving the wrong impression' as well Baz?

Which is ultimately the point I've been making but others prefer to concentrate on the wording in which you make your point that the point itself.
Selective quoting f-t-w. (Why the hell is that censored?)

As I said, it only makes it look worse through our increased perception of it, unless you want to argue that the viewing public aren't familiar with zoom lens in pictures (which is as stupid as the first sentence above)?

To be honest I could understand if this was an issue of semantics, but you originally said the picture was 'fake' and then backtracked into where you are now. As I said, just take it on the chin.

But saying that Rafael's tackle was awful and he should be banned for 6 games.

GP had a good point - if Maxi had been booked straight away (which should have happened given the seriousness/height of his tackle), Rafael wouldnt have been so fraught to go into that tackle (seconds /a minute later) in the first place

Im not condoning Rafael, it was an awful tackle - but it would also be pretty stupid for Carragher to have escaped with a yellow after injuring someone far worse, in an equally bad if not worse tacke (by a much more senior player).........

Nani was a complete and utter **** for leaping up like that and getting into a melee rather than just laying on the ground , but Gerrard should be ashamed of himself for slapping someone's leg like that who was visibly hurt badly

edit - Im sure I read somewhere Charlie Adam had completed his suspension and could play tonight!!

Best to forget about it, people aren't going to change their opinion and will argue that being closer to something makes it seem worse and so on but viewpoints won't change and it's irrelevant. I really don't think the mods want any more infighting at the moment.

DId Rafael waiti outside the Liverpool changing room to apologise ? Carra waited outside the Man U one to do this

I am genuinely asking, he may well have done for all I know

Not sure but Wayne Rooney stayed behind at after hearing there was a nani lying on a table with a big gash!

I will and have admitted my frist response wasn't the best but since then I explained it.

You've admitted yourself that the picture makes the cut look worse than it was so why are you taking issue with me saying that the picture has been photoshopped/enhanced and as a result makes the injury seem worse?

Whether it was done innocently or not is open for debate but imo, it has not been made clear that the only part of the pic that has been enhanced is the cut and as a result would make people think the cut is larger than it is.

Again Baz, are you saying that the general public are not aware of what a zoom lens (clearly shown in the picture) is?

And so 'fake' means 'declared emphasis on a certain element of the picture'? Don't really see how that's a matter of interpretation.

Take it... oh whatever; you're never going to give up on this.

Haven't I said 3 times that I shouldn't have said fake?

And again, you've admitted youself that the picture makes the injury seem worse so why are you taking issue with me saying that the way it's been enhanced makes it seem worse?

I questioned whether it was the same incident as there is no coverage from Sky from that angle nor are there any of the press's camera men on that side of the pitch. I didn't say it definitely wasn't.

Whether it's been photoshopped or not and whether it was intentional or not, that picture makes the size of the cut to Nani's leg look far bigger than it was. The cut to Nani's leg is not much bigger than the size of a stud, he's not had a 4 inch chunk taken out of his leg like that picture would indicate.

And it is Carrick! I'm watching the incident right now. Carrick is standing there with his hands on his hips while Scholes is arguing with Kuyt!

Sorry I was talking about the size of the cut rather than the actual medical term. I should have been clearer as I know you like to concentrate on meaningless details rather than the actual point ;)

Maybe I've missed this, but was Nancy not wearing shin pads?

Doesn't look like a good tackle, but hardly as bad as people keep going on about. Just a little bit late...

Now Roy Keane, there's an evil egomaniac. Should have been banned for a season for the Inge Haaland 'revenge'.

He was wearing shin pads. There's a clip somewhere that shows him taking his shin pad off before getting up and running over to the ref.

He was, just took them off after. The tackle was a potential leg breaker, though.

Poor ol' Torres can't do anything right at the moment (awaits him to score after I post). Looks like Chelsea'll score a few more.
