Does that mena Utd shoot more often/ more successfully - or that other gk's raise their game against Arsenal.......could mean a huge difference could also mean very little

Combination of both.

Still, it's an annoying 0-0, but to be expected. This is roughly our form throughout a season and we're not a side capable of going on title winning runs. This is from evidence for over 6, 7 years now.

I'd put it down to our injury prone starting 11 and our pretty average back ups. The FSC commentator even mentioned that as well, get rid of around 3 pathetic fringe players (like denilson) and just bring in 2 quality players.

Fickle Arsenal fans, moan about their keeper/defence one week and then moan about referees the following week. Arsenal weren't good today.

Plus saying keepers have better saving percentages against them then Man Utd only means you can't place your shots.

exactly you need a fully fit VP for 38 games a season and you would be laughing :)

Plus a defence that isnt made of paper

There is a sense that goal keepers do have blinders against us, far too frequently. The amount of goals we happen to score, does indicate this.

However it's something well known by Arsenal fans that our finishing could be better.

Other top sides will have a very defensive side to their game, ours is almost non existent; winning - attack and attack, losing - attack and attack, drawing - attack and attack. It creates more chances than anybody else and there's a sense of arrogance in front of goal - heck for all the ones he put in even Theirry Henry missed far too many.

It really does go back to all of Wenger's time here, we need a natural finisher, that 'fox in the box'.

We definitely need to score more goals. And defend better, so that we conceded less. And actually create more chances to score too. What we need is more pacy, physical, skillful, tall players, with natural finishing ability.

Then we'll be sorted.

I know football is unpredictable and anything can happen, but i can't see today's Arsenal side doing anything against barca or united in the FA cup. Theo Van Nasregas is the reason we win matches, with only one of them fit and playing I don't see us doing well at all.
