We definitely need to score more goals. And defend better, so that we conceded less. And actually create more chances to score too. What we need is more pacy, physical, skillful, tall players, with natural finishing ability.

Then we'll be sorted.

Where was Ramsey today, Diaby, run run run, turn turn turn..... where'd the ball go. So many times he ignored a simple pass in favour of doing something ultimately utterly wasteful.

Personally don't believe keepers have great games against us, the Brum keeper really only made one or two great saves, most shots from Nasri aren't close to corners, were from distance and without much speed, Arshavin/Wilshire/Theo tend to shoot with very little power also a lot of the time, we make our shots easy to save sometimes. Nasri's freekick, on target, sure but far to central and the reason Ronaldo scores those is he whips them with insane pace, from that distance at that speed, standard save.

Nasri again was woeful when trying to play in the Cesc role, largely uninvolved till much later in the game, then when he was involved, it was missed passes, poor shots, slowing down the play, refusing to cross and losing the ball, then he brought in the stupid fouls that wasted time and got fairly close to a second yellow for no reason aswell as getting mouthy.

Diaby and Denilson shouldn't make the reserves team, thats where we dropped the 3 points, two woeful players, with Nasri playing almost invisibly for most of the game is never going to work.

Its all well and good to play a "spoiler" who can't pass/shoot/attack for crap, but those two can't defend to save their lives, sucking 5-6mil out of the club a year between them + signing bonuses every few years.

Did we need Chamakh today when we had Bendtner on? No, he's pretty rubbish and we desparately needed a form(as in, gets games) Vela to come on to partner Bendtner.

Bendtner is and always has been a playmaking striker, an assist maker, late run into the box, he's ALWAYS played better with a ickle fast guy ahead of him, jesus, play 4-4-2 and put Nasri ahead of him, anything, stop playing a dumb formation with the wrong players.

Does that mena Utd shoot more often/ more successfully - or that other gk's raise their game against Arsenal.......could mean a huge difference could also mean very little

I'm sure I read somewhere that we had one of the highest shots to goals ratio, meaning we create **** all but when we do the strikers convert more (Hernandez might have a little to do with that!)

Why's DM quoted Weebull?

He's done it to me before; he'll quote you and then post an essay of dribble that got nothing to do with the post he quoted.

I'm going to say 3-1 to United today, Rooney/Nani/Fletcher.

Thank you & good night, or morning or whatever.

Plan is, wake up around 12pm, fried breakfast and watch my prediction come true.

:p

Off to what could be quite possibly my last Liverpool Man U home game today. Am almost certainly renting out my season ticket next year as basically I have become fed up with football the way it is.

1.30 Sunday games, 8pm Monday nights and every last penny being milked from you as a fan. It's just become a ' I am considerably richer than yow' contest for the owners and the deepest pocket prevails.

Sad times ladies and gents. It's no longer the beautiful game.

Well im hoping we get a result today, I dont think we can stop UTD scoring we just got to score more :D.

Thou Daily Fail reported Gerrard might not play due to groin injury :( Could be false mind but still i hope he is fit and plays as i DONT want Poulsen near the pitch.

I only want Gerrard on the pitch if he doesnt play as deep as he did against West Ham, made him completely ineffectual being that deep.

Ditto but when we faced WH we were crap all over the pitch so no one made any difference that day

Meh, gives me something to do on a Sunday rather than playing 14 hours of xbox so I'm not that bothered by it.

Weebull basically says we need better players who can play football so I mostly talked about who was woeful and needs replacing with people who are better and can actually play football....... so totally not related at all in any possible way you could think of, well done.

For the record I've been saying for about three years, every team in the world can get away with a player or two having a poor game, no team can get away with 4-5 players performing like utter turd(unless the other team does aswell).

With Diaby, Denilson, Song, Sagna, Koscielny(another game full of errors from him), Squillaci, Rosicky, Nasri, Theo, these are players that do nothing but fill up our per game quota of woeful players that cost us badly. The worst thing they do is take up a place on the pitch of a player capable of playing football.

Every time we play several of our worst players all in one team and even more so when we have less of our best players to "even the team out" we suck balls and drop points.

Nasri, grr, people don't look past the goals, but 11 goals, 1 assist I think at the moment, largely grouped against the worst teams in the league, few goals recently, woeful, just woeful in central midfield trying to run the game.

Arsenal fans do seem to every year pick a new player to fap over who in reality is doing rubbish, Diaby, Denilson, Song, Nasri. Arsenal fans and Wenger need to stop getting behind players who are effective for 2 minutes a game and start getting behind our consistant players who can play and play well for the whole game.

Hadnt seen that - very interesting , thank you for the titbit :)

(Even a blind man wouldnt have to be told Utd create very little lol)

edit - I wouldnt bet on Gerrard missing the game (either through Liverpool trying something on, the source being questionable, and a multiple of other reasons lol)

I really dont think it will be a clear win by either side, but could come down to a knicked goal one way or the other - Im just praying its a fair game and isnt decided by some dodgy refereeing decision
