Conceded weak goals, scored via two flukes with the difference in talent between teams he certainly got it wrong :), that said not taking anything away from Monk, schooled Brendan last year but lost due to ****e luck

And of course I didn't, first game on Saturday was like pulling teeth, PL is garbage

I think his biggest tactical mistake was getting Courtois sent off and conceding the penalty.
And Monk lost due to bad luck but with Mourhino it has to be his tactics even though you didn't watch :p

Not sure what you're getting at but Brendans tactics were ****e too and failed to adjust and fluked a win with a goal that wouldn't have looked out of place in your game.

Both times monk good, both times opposition managers got it wrong and bad. Also yep opinion being made from not watching the game, like most opinions on the place

I don't get why JohnnyG is defending Mourinho in this situation when he's clearly wrong

Assuming this incident has led to a falling out that has then caused her to be demoted, what on earth is she supposed to do? Say she didn't go on the pitch and it turns out Hazard was actually injured, she wouldn't just get demoted, she'd probably get sacked too. She was stuck in a no-win situation with Jose blaming her when really he was just annoyed that they were drawing a game they most likely expected to win.

I've got to agree with Baz here, you can't start criticising and punishing team doctors for doing their jobs. They are there to look after the health of the players and shouldn't be told when they can and can't go on the pitch if a player needs treatment.

Maybe the medic staff for the teams wouldn't need to come on as much if the players stopped rolling around on the floor every 5 minutes, because a blade of grass tripped them.

If Mourinho is publicly unhappy at the medical staff for apparently not understanding the game, perhaps he should also publicly criticise Hazard too for not understanding that staying down and being treated would mean having to go off the pitch.

Read today that the referee waved them onto the field so what are they supposed to do exactly?

Does seem a very strange one so there must have been a lot going on in the background before this incident for it to have caused such a fall out.

Mourinho has been a joke in this whole debacle. Blames the medicals staff for what exactly? Taking too long to assess whether Hazard was injured when the team were already down to ten men?

Don't blame Courtios for being sent off and putting the team down to 10 in the first place.

Don't blame Hazard for not thinking that staying down will mean the team are down to 9 on the field.

Don't even blame the ref for calling the medical staff on to the pitch to treat Hazard.

Let's blame the medical staff for following the rules stated in the laws of the game and in the GMC standards guidelines for going on to the pitch when called by the ref and requested by the player.

His press-conference tomorrow is going to be interesting. He's taken a good kicking from everybody over this, will he be forced into backing down or will his pride stop him?

Forced in to backing down by whom?
The med team won't be at the press conference and they and the Club/JM are the only ones who should be interested in this mountain from a molehill, not ex club Dr's, football pundits and journalists or fans who have no real idea about the situation and just love a drama.
It's incredible how much the media and fans fap over everything he does and says, he owns them.

He put's himself into the limelight (purposefully) by being a dick.

I didn't see the incident however on BBC this morning in black and white it was reported as:

*Player went down
*Ref waved the doc on

So yeh, Mourinho's being a dick.

Even having said that though I don't think anyone can say that this whole thing has not been blown out of proportion :p

Public opinion. The same way Taggart had a go at Ferdinand the other year over this kick it out stuff and he ended up backing down when the press rounded on him.

JM's clearly in the wrong here and it seems like for one of the first times the press aren't going to just bow down to his bs.

Strength in white knight numbers :p.

If the ref called them on, etc, they didn't do anything wrong... but there was something the other day about Mourinho thinking about changing her role anyway, which rings true given it'd be ridiculous to demote her/shift her role because of this one thing.

The article wrote by his pet dog, Duncan Castles? Mourinho always wheels him out when he needs something said in the press. I'm not sure that article done him any favours when he basically said she was binned for being a woman rather than that incident.

So Jose reads out a statement and then refuses to take any questions on it. Great way to skirt it. The statement makes no reference to why he blames the medical staff over the incident and what he would have expected them to do. Here's the statement:

"First of all I want to say I have a fantastic medical department led by Dr Paco Biosca, I have a good relationship with them.

"They tell me they have never been praised as much as they have done by me in the last couple of years because normally managers when things go well to keep to themselves and when they have injuries they speak about the medical department.

"They also told me we had disagreements during this period and need them to improve."

"The bench is my responsibility, it is my decision, Every week I face a decision. I have to choose.

"I have seven assistants but only four can go on the bench. We have four kit men and only one is on the bench. We have a big medical department and only two go on the bench. It is important to go on the bench, for some. For others it is about what they do.

"Jon Fearn and Dr Carneiro will not be on the bench but that does not mean Sunday is the rest of our careers. It is my decision.

"If anyone thinks that a disagreement between two of the medical department and the manager can affect the build up to a match doesn't know football."
