Can't be, surely. Shaw? He hasn't played at all. Bertrand should go though

Looking through that squad, there's only 1 RB as well. Smalling and Stones can play there i suppose but still. No Welbeck as well, injured? Obviously a more serious injury than i thought.

Welbeck's injury didn't look that bad.

There's no way that list can be true, far to early to release who's in and out etc.

Speaking of Arsenal, could this be the greatest St Totteringham's day ever?
Spurs will no doubt lose to Newcastle pushing for survival as Arsenal host relegated Villa.

Could be epic!! 21 years.....

I dont see the issue with Bertrand and Shaw if its true. I get Shaw has had an injury but he is England's best left back...Rose and Bertrand are decent enough but thats about it for me.

Squad looks about right to be honest.

Edit.

Seems overloaded in cm now ive looked again. Surprised there's no Walker aswell as Clyne.

Shaw hasn't played for 6 months, that's the issue, how fit is he going to be? How sharp is he going to be? What if Bertrand gets injured in the first game and Shaw has to play the rest of the competition?

Rose is the PFA left back of the year, he should absolutely be going along with Bertand.

Saying that I still don't believe it's true, it would defy belief.

So with only one game to go, this brilliant Spurs season is still 2 points worse off than the woeful Andre Villas-Boas one.

I've mentioned the fact that Spurs wouldn't be anywhere near the top in a normal season a number of times but the spurs fans were drunk on the idea of winning the league. When United, Liverpool, City and Chelsea are back next season Spurs won't get a look in again.

It's a great sounding stat but completely inaccurate. The 'good' AVB season they got 72 points, the following season he got fired after 16 games and was on course for a 64point season, though the team was worse by the game, failing to score and just about the worst team I've watched play in terms of entertainment.

He fluked it with Bale scoring 21 the previous season, games where the team sucked but Bale ran 30 yards with the ball before scoring from 30 yards. The following season he got fired after a 5-0 thrashing and having scored 15 goals in 16 games. AVB had destroyed the offence, the defence wasn't terrible but with 11 men in your own half to defend causing the **** offence being good defensively wasn't difficult.

He had Spurs playing like West Brom/Stoke do/did under Pulis. This year Spurs **** the bed in the past few games, didn't have Bale, Kane has scored more than Bale but the team wasn't failing to make chances without him nor is he scoring entirely on his own.

Back from where, I can't see the potential for those teams to get better without substantial investment in the squad - even that doesn't guarantee results. See Man City.

I don't think many Spurs fans got carried away, myself included.

I don't even know what you mean by normal season, did they change the amount of players you can have on a pitch or something?

Normal season... if my aunt had nuts, she'd be my uncle.

Kelvin Davis' kid just took a penalty at his testimonial match, absolute rocket of a shot, one of the best penalties I've seen taken this year lol
