10/1 that it was his sponsor, Sunbets,that put him up to it for a bit exposure. The guy was in between a rock and a hard place, he eat a pie and got done because people bet on it. And if he didn't eat a pie on the bench he'd be accused of losing people money.
 
They dont have identical squads though. Rodgers had one of the best forward lines in Europe with Suarez, Sterling and Sturridge oh and Gerrard who was still decent early on.
 
One was regarded as a fraud and carried, the other one of the greatest managers available. He should be smashing fraudgers record
 
He's got a point. You can't compare the current Liverpool squad to the one that nearly won the league. With that squad I would have little doubt klopp would have won the league.
