Uefa charges Alvaro Morata & Rodri after 'Gibraltar is Spanish' chant during Euro 2024 celebrations
Uefa opens "disciplinary proceedings" against Spain captain Alvaro Morata and team-mate Rodri after they chanted "Gibraltar is Spanish" during their Euro 2024 victory celebrations.

Surely there has to be severe punishment for this. Some sort of extended ban for Rodri. I'm appalled I tell you. Appalled.
I watched the Brazilian Serie A over the weekend, and this tickled me.
Context: Flamengo (title contenders) v Criciuma (relegation candidates), 1-1 in the final minute. A Flamengo supporter threw a second ball into the penalty area as they were mounting an attack. Criciuma defender concedes a penalty by cheekily playing the extra ball off the match ball as Everton is preparing to shoot. Gabriel Barbosa, recently back from a drugs suspension, steps up to win the game.

I saw Bruce's name mentioned in connection with this yesterday too. Can't imagine they did anything other than flip a coin to decide, outcome will be similar for them anyway. Sacked with a large pay off after miserable failure halfway through his lucrative contract.

Get your money on Liverpool winning the league as Neville has predicted we'll finish outside the top 6, last time he dropped a beauty along those lines he said man utd would win the Pl before Liverpool and of course we went on to win it that season
