Football Banter Thread

I thought it was absolutely crap at first, but now going to look at ours its actually better.
Ours is incredibly dated with huge amounts of wasted space, **** loading and a pain to find things. Manu site looks the same, incredibly dated, surprising both our clubs have probably the two worst sites

The way website design has gone is baffling. ESPN switched from a relatively concise page of stats for players to this new design where every single number and line was spaced miles apart,

http://www.espnfc.com/player/95410/diego-costa

if you scroll down to where it lists game, cup, score, mins played then the stats for that game. When they implemented the design the numbers and text were so large that the goal line was off that scroll bar. It's in every way MUCH worse than it was and made the numbers stupidly difficult to read. Every new redesigned website seems to be going for the less is more design. Less things on page, make them all huge and put in weird fonts and stupid sections.

What I always found odd was university web pages, Brunel's site, in particular the computer science/maths sections, were awful. The OU website is laid out incredibly poorly with so many required links buried in stupid places.

Teach courses on web design, coding, languages, computing, professionally designing interfaces....... but create woeful website. Seen many other uni's with pretty awful websites as well.

Feeling tired as hell so decided it was a dominos night tonight..... new dominos website had the same done to it, everything is big and everyone loves menus or tabs that move or expand when you mouse over them, who the hell thought that was a good idea? I guess a lot of it is morons trying to make things work better on mobile websites but why should that mess up a full sized big screen version, lazy *****.

I didn't see anyone mention it yet, but 10mil Sandro is out with another knee injury he sustained when he scored a goal in training and decided to celebrate like it was a real match and he threw himself into a slide along the ground.

That guy is such a complete and utter moron and the footie365 comment summed it up for me

"Oh look, Sandro's injured. His knee. Again. No doubt he'll recover then do it again with a spot of kung fu on youtube "

Massively over rated, brain dead, constantly injured, 10mil is a hilariously large amount for a guy that has averaged 15 league starts a year for Spurs being dropped both for injuries and lack of actually being any good.

i can't find a gif of it but am hoping someone has one. when mason scored for spurs last night (cracking goal for anyone who hasn't seen it) soldado went to boot the ball into the empty net .... and hit the post!

He still did more in 15 starts than our others did in 50

Any Stoke fans watch Toby Jone's Marvellous last night? Portraying the life of Neil Baldwin who at first glance looks a little strange but has lead quite the interesting life, heavily involved with football in the Stoke area including my former university - Keele.

ok don't normally venture into Prem league as I couldn't give a monkeys but

Position Team Played Goal Difference Points

1 Chelsea 6 12 16 2 Southampton 6 7 13 3 Man City 6 5 11 4 Arsenal 6 4 10
