Football Fixtures 20-21st September *Spoilers*

Newcastle bombed today, and tbh I would have loved to have seen the odds on Toon and Spuds bottom at this point

As said before I've lost all faith in season already but meh, I really can't see where are going to get our next point from

Is it too much to hope for both spurs and newcastle to go down?

Is there really a god?
Could they keep being utterly tragic for a whole season?

He's fine, just bruising, no fracture:

Gael Clichy suffered only bruising to his shin during the game at Bolton on Saturday.

The left back went off just before half time feeling the effects of a challenge by Kevin Davies. He went to hospital for a scan but they found no fracture.

As a result, Gael was able to join up the rest of the Arsenal squad for the journey home.

On a side note, i went to anfield today, and i thought highbury was quiet. Stoke outsung liverpool all game, i still cant believe that stoke could've taken 3 points today if lawrence had made proper contact. Although Fuller should have got sent off (imo).

Is it me? or does Walcott play almost exactly the same as Henry, when he is on the ball, some times I have to double take.

I'd go as far as saying I think he could become as clinical if not more than Henry in front of goal but Henry was masterful when he was dribbling, he always had such great control whereas that isn't the case yet with Walcott. Both obviously lightening quick but with Henry I always felt he knew when to dribble (and when he did more often than not he got past players) whereas Theo doesn't have that same control and it is easier to win the ball off him. Henry also was better at judging when to pass and when to hold onto it but that is something Theo will pick up with experience.

Yes it is :(

Looking at that table, I think we *have* to get a result of some kind tomorrow, otherwise the season is in danger of sinking before it's even got afloat. :(

That second West Ham goal was a joke. Well taken, but the defense may as well have run and hid behind the stand.

Is there still no news on Clichy? That tackle looked even worse on the BBC.

Apperantly just a bruised shin, But what the hell is Lawrenson on about? a fair challenge? and shearer? If you have a bruised shiN the tackle was too high IMO
