In what way?
He doesnt tackle, chase the ball down, challenge when the ball is thrown up to him, or get after loose balls.
He is therefore, lazy, cowardly in that he doesnt get in the mix for the ball.
.
RVN rarely did any of that either - but carry on if its gonna make you feel better
Obviously you know better than probably the best Manager in English football
(by all means mention Veron, Djemba Djemba etc but imo they are balanced out by the ones that came from the academy or absolutely nowhere like Beckham, Scholes, Neville *2, Giggs , Ronaldo, Brown, Vidic etc etc)
It takes time for players to get used to new teams - so please stfu and give him a chance, he has had 2 games and an assist already against two of thee top three teams last season
I thought a draw today was the least we deserved, Man.U. played well for the first 20mins or so then forgot what to do.
I think some of that was down to Chelsea having to shuffle the pack at the last minute when they lost Deco in the warm up (then Riccy) so it took a while to settle in to plan B.
Chelsea dominated after Man.U's goal and had we had a decent striker we would've won comfortably, J. Cole and Anelka missed a couple of absolute sitters that even Berbatov would've scored
Riley was a bit trigger happy too which stopped the flow of the game at times and a couple of Man. U's bookings were a bit harsh not Scholes's or Rooney's mind as they were deserved, Scholes for not being able to tackle yet again and Rooney for losing the plot as usual.
85*
Sounds reasonable to me - both teams had a chance to win, Utd mainly in the 1st half , and CFC later in the game (although Utd had a 1/2 chance at the death)
