Football Fixtures 20-21st September *Spoilers*

Chelsea fan here. I thought we dominated today but we failed to make the most of our chances. Anelka was poor and Drogba didn't really seem bothered about playing when he came on.

I am pleased with the point but felt we deserved more, as I said though we just didn't take our chances.

Ronaldo's dive was a joke.
 
Berbatov was rubbish today, as was Rooney. Tevez should have started, no doubt about it. Obviously VdS getting injured stopped him from coming on.

It was a good performance for half an hour but the rest was just the same as last week, quite poor. Credit to Park and Fletcher for their performances. Neville just isn't as good as Brown anymore, the amount of times he stupidly dived in was ridiculous.
 
pompey got hammered lol 6-0 thats a disgrace they should be relegated on that result alone, oh well im glad the mighty gunners are doing well so far
 
Can't complain, top of the league, best goal difference, 2nd best goals scored and best defence. Pretty chuffed with that as i thought we would struggle after our loss to Fulham.

In what way?

He doesnt tackle, chase the ball down, challenge when the ball is thrown up to him, or get after loose balls.

He is therefore, lazy, cowardly in that he doesnt get in the mix for the ball.

He is overrated because people think he is the bees knees, when in fact, he isnt very good at all.

His attitude is also appalling.

So, in fact, its actually an entirely accurate description of Berbatov in every way.

Now over to you to argue the case for the worthless ****** that we have blown £30 million on.

Yes, just not these past two seasons.
The season before last when we started like a steam roller and actually played some football was great.

There are just players in the squad now that have simply had a season too many at the club, Scholes, Giggs, Park, Neville, O'shea and Fletcher should have all been shipped out by now and replaced by younger or better players.

Much like liverpool there are players that have been transferred to other lesser clubs who are a great deal better than those I've listed but we have blindly carried on and wasted money elsewhere.

Today was a prime example of where £30 million would have been better spent on midfielders and defence and even a decent goalie and we have not even looked at those options, instead, we bought a striker we didnt need, who doesnt fit the style of play, who even if he did fit the style of play isnt good enough to play for us.
 
I thought a draw today was the least we deserved, Man.U. played well for the first 20mins or so then forgot what to do.
I think some of that was down to Chelsea having to shuffle the pack at the last minute when they lost Deco in the warm up (then Riccy) so it took a while to settle in to plan B.
Chelsea dominated after Man.U's goal and had we had a decent striker we would've won comfortably, J. Cole and Anelka missed a couple of absolute sitters that even Berbatov would've scored ;)
Riley was a bit trigger happy too which stopped the flow of the game at times and a couple of Man. U's bookings were a bit harsh not Scholes's or Rooney's mind as they were deserved, Scholes for not being able to tackle yet again and Rooney for losing the plot as usual.
