Football Fixtures - 28th-30th December *[SPOILERS]*

Can't see it happening to either tbh. Both sides usually perform better in the second half of the season so it could be a very important game as far as the title's concerned.

fair enough - but "usual" and this season shouldnt be used in the same context for any of the top four so far

Utd arent scoring as much as usual considering the last few seasons

Liverpool have a considerably lousy home record, and topped the league at Xmas and New Year (last time they did either was early 90's)

Chelsea have the same lousy home record - which hasnt been the case for a number of years

Ok maybe Arsenal are the usual connundrum lol

but still ten points behind :D

I see your point, but thats only because of our cramped fixture list.

Plus United have more home games in the second half of the season compared to other teams and i believe all the top 8 of last years league have to come to old trafford.

Also our home form is looking very good. Out of the 7 we've played we have one six and drawn only one.

I'm going to say United for the title.

I didnt think liverpool were going to do it but looking at recent results i would say liverpool are our biggest threat.

We deserved to win that, just got back and ******* freezing. One of the goals was a mixup between Schwarzer/Hughes, the other dunno what happened to get in the net!

Get in there Dempsey!

1 point from 9 against Newcastle, Fulham and West Brom :(

i know a truly crushing defeat today
but tbh im kind of glad it happened
things need to get worse before they get better

i fully expect us to stay up tho
luckily the other results went our way

:mad::(

Glad West Brom seem to have turned a corner. I'd like to see all the promoted teams hold their own this season.

Haven't managed to see either of the Arsenal games this week, so I've kind of missed the story on all that. By most accounts we were pretty terrible against Villa, and not exactly inspiring today. Fun stuff.

he just chatting **** he doesnt really care about west brom he is just happy they won since he is a arsenal fan

This season its going to be really interesting one with Liverpool doing so well, even without Torres but i'm still not 100% convinced yet as both Chelsea and Man Utd know what it takes to win titles, they got players who have been there before. United although they haven't been scoring much ad not playing to well they are still churning out the wins. One thing i did notice today when looking at united last 4 games of the season, they have:

Saturday, 02 May 2009
Middlesbrough v Man Utd, 15:00

Saturday, 09 May 2009
Man Utd v Man City, 15:00

Saturday, 16 May 2009
Man Utd v Arsenal, 15:00

Sunday, 24 May 2009
Hull v Man Utd, 16:00

Now thats a tough run in.
