Football Fixtures - 28th-30th December *[SPOILERS]*

I thought the Newcastle side we played at St James last season was the worst we've ever played, this may not have been as bad a side but that's the worst defense we've played in a long time. Had we been able to finish we'd have broke all sorts of records today.

Thought Lucas had his best game for us today and good to see Skrtel get a run out :D

Oh and Happy Birthday Pigeon (still think Benitez made a **** up today? ;)) and Tute.
 
That'll do. An impressive win but the opposition weren't up to much. Very annoyed Reina didn't keep a clean sheet.

Not been the greatest fan of Lucas since he arrived but he was immense today. If he keeps up that kind of performance I'll be very happy to eat my words. Word on Insua - fantastic, again.

One for the Scousers!!

A man met a beautiful lady and decided he wanted to marry her right away.

She said, 'But we don't know anything about each other.'

He said, 'That's all right, we'll learn about each other as we go along.'

So she consented; they were married, and off they went on a honeymoon at a very nice resort.

One morning they were lying by the pool, when he got up off of his towel, climbed up to the 10 meter board and did a two and a half tuck,

followed by three rotations in the pike position, at which point he straightened out and cut the water like a knife.

After a few more demonstrations, he came back and lay down on the towel.

She said, 'That was incredible!'

He said, 'I used to be an Olympic diving champion. You see, I told you we'd learn more about each other as we went along.'

So she got up, jumped in the pool and started doing lengths. After seventy-five lengths she climbed out of the pool, lay down on her towel and was hardly out of breath.

He said, 'That was incredible! Were you an Olympic endurance swimmer?'

'No,' she said, 'I was a prostitute in Liverpool, but I worked both sides of the Mersey.
 
It seems Wenger's starting Adebayor with bendtner not Van P. Interesting, since i didnt hear of any injuries. Could have at least put that Vela kid.
 
double spaces instantly get ignored :P

Great result for pool they are looking very promosing but to be fair newcastle didnt turn up and we have seen chelsea hammer teams the same way and also man city hammer hull 5-1 so its not unheard of :)

Yep, nice to see Lucas playing well-saw him a couple of times for Brazil's under 20s and thought he was class, so hopefully this means that he's adapting to the Premiership :D
 
Rubbish really.

I know Liverpool had loads of chances and were the better team by a mile etc. but I still don't get the whole 'deserve to win 9-1' stuff, if you can't score enough goals you don't deserve to win 9-1.

Dunno why we've imploded over the last two games, weird.

As for the Liverpool one that wasn't offside, Given gave up, didn't attempt to save it. ;):)
