Football SPOILERS 11/12 April

I always figured that Utd would have an easy win today, so I was rather chuffed when Sunderland drew level. Sadly Sunderland couldnt hold on for the draw.

On the plus side, Liverpool have a +5 goal advantage over utd now, just incase it does end up level on points.

The next fixtures are the crunch matches though, Liverpool against Arsenal on the 21st, and Utd against Pompey on the 22nd. Thats 48 hours which could decide the title.

Arsenals scoreline is flattering, couple lucky goals at the end where frankly their defence fell apart. yet more proof that Bramble has fitness issues, he can play well for abotu 60-70mins these days then turns into a complete retard.

Arsenal yet again showed Wenger we suck under 4-5-1 where we could easily have been trailing by 2-1 after quite a long time of trailing 1-0. the second we changed to 4-4-2 we were a utterly different side. Theo Walcott was utterly hopeless, very nicely taken goal, again showing with no defenders to beat, with just the goal to deal with he could be world class, as a winger, no threat in any shape or form.

Arshavin with a fantastic finish, lucky to get it terrible defensive pass, came from a promising attack where a single decent ball from Ade would probably have resulted in a Fabregas goal but his pass was awful as per usual. Arshavin poached his chance with a truly brilliant finish though. Song with a nicely taken goal but again, defence quite literally ran out of his way.

Fabregas is simply a brilliant playmaker, best passer in the game full stop, fantastic vision, HAS to play in a 4-4-2 though, his game works with two moving strikers creating spaces to pass into and running onto them.

Very odd to bring on Ade for Walcott and play BEndtner on the wing. I really don't see why Eboue after starting to play brilliantly has been completely dropped, while we play Theo on the wing whose completely ineffective and no use defensively.

Gutted with that :(

Newcastle were **** poor and I cannot believe they've managed to get a point. The number of chances we missed were ridiculous.

Stoke get slated week in week out, but we've just completly outplayed newcastle for 80 minutes of that game.

Shearers clueless as well. I really don't see what he's brought to them except for a bit of fun for the fans?

Shearer's timing works well for the board, it comes at a time where the fans are really ****ed off and are tempted not to renew their season tickets, this appointment gives em a lift and they start to believe again, and hence renew their ST's.
