Cheers Chong Warrior :cool: I only just made one rep i was very surprised i managed it to be honest i haven't been this pleased since i benched pressed 100 kilos all them years ago, i really want to be able to bench 200 kilos at some point. Little by little i'll get there in the end:).
 
atleast you are pressing!

i havent lifted a weight with any purpose in near on 2 weeks now. this forearm is really ******* me off now!
 
Ive just finished building my home gym with my house mate very very stressful nothing came on time lots of chasing on the phone :mad:, just waiting on the punch bag,chain and bracket got the chin up bar today looks a beast lol that wont be coming off the wall any time soon. :D

Sounds a bit dodgy to me, I don't like the concept. It's not a million miles from eating something and then sticking your fingers down your throat is it?

Don't want it? Don't need it? Then don't eat it! ;)

ok kinda messed up a little (doesnt help with the forearm injury!).

but today i was feeling strong so pushed on more than i was planning.

currently week 3, yet i was doing week 5. will repeat this week for week 4 if possible, which will help me on towards the final goal, atleast that is the plan!

well, did some random exercises today and the forearm seemed good.
100kg CG lat pulldowns had no effect (good thing!), infact, was surprised that I could pull it, given the last time I touched a weight was 25th July!
80kg bench - 3x10, felt nothing (though struggled with the weight).
shoulder press - used the machine for safety, pressed the whole stack (100 (i can only assume its kg, as all the other machines are kg)), didnt feel a thing.

next session, some isolation moves, i have a feeling that curls might be a problem!

was good to play with the weight :D
 
Had an operation Friday, so thats my gym buggered for at least a month, the only thing i can do in the gym now is arms and shoulders :( :mad:

Just take is slow and easy, we all have set backs. All the best in your recovery.
 
Yep, hope I can get back to 100% quickly. Ive already got a new bulk diet from James over on Muscle talk, so I know ive got everything in place for when i get back properly

M8 i know how you feel, well not exactly but sort of, i fell down some stairs in the wet the other day landed straight on a step edge on the lower back/left hip region. Not only has the swelling buggered any cardio or leg exercises, but i cant even lie on a bench! Its doing my nut! Im just standing around doing dumbell curls and twitching insanely!

I feel you buddy, I've buggered my knee. So no leg work for me, NO SQUATS!!!! for about 2-3 weeks at least. No deadlifts, no football either :(

Just hope it gets better this week as I'm off to Creamfields on Saturday and I thoroughly plan on boogying the night away until 6am :) I don't even want to think about not being able to :eek:

Its a nightmare being injured, and because i had the op at the very bottom of my back i have to completly avoid swats and deads for about 6-8 weeks :mad:

Hope u get back into it soon mate
