For the gym rats

An olympic athelete trains for hours every day. Its not (just) because they've got excellent genetics, its because they EAT ENOUGH, so I think your (admittedly poor) diet is to blame. You give off the impression of wanting "ripped-abz" and I bet you're just not eating enough.

I don't see how doing a few weights down the gym to gain muscle definition compares to an olympic athlete. Thanks for the comments anyway.

Any tips for getting to sleep without medication? I find myself too worked up after a session at the gym or from 5-a-side and find I get 7 hours sleep at most.

Cleaned and pressed 67.5kg tonight. Did it on saturday afternoon but managed 3x6 tonight whereas sat was 3x5.5 ;) Next stop 70kgs :D

I really struggle once I get near to 100kg, the weight crushes my delts and the weakness of the crossed arm style grip starts to become obvious. So wish I was flexible enough for the clean grip!

i have the same problem ,[although not as big a weight] what is the clean grip

ah ok ill have to try that ,think i should be ok too ,i have a friend that cant do back squats ,he cant get the bar behind his head too stiff are there any alternatives

yeah, i think that i will come up against the same thing as it gets heavier. :/

I bought this a few years ago: http://www.gymratz.co.uk/weight-training-gym-equipment/item182.htm

It stops the bar from digging into the delts when front squatting...

I see you like your pullups, wardie, me too.

About once a month we do 100 rep pullups in as many sets as it takes, its nice to challenge yourself :)
