Yes. I never do less than 6 reps, and even then I only do that to bring the strength up.

Biceps and Quads today, feeling really up for it. Today is the start of a new supplement for me; Nano Vapor from MuscleTech http://www.muscletech.com/products/nanovapor/. Similar to BSN's N.O Explode which I've recently finished with. I will see how it goes and let you guys know.

ive found all NO supps lacking, best pumps come from training right not some magic cocktail. The only benefit i found with Pre-workout stuff like NO Xplode was that the high dose simple sugar intake 30mins before training, along with the stims really buzzed me, but a sugary black coffee would likely do the same

Still let us know how you get on.

I had a decent level of energy and each rep was very intense. I managed to lift more than last week and walked away feeling like I had squeezed every last ounce out of my arms. Quads were a bit lacking today as they seem to be weak from the last session for some reason. Oh and my biceps looked fuller and my veins were popping more than usual. May up the dosage to 3 scoops. Training shoulders and triceps tomorrow.

Finally some good news, went back to the hospital yesterday for a check up, and he said that if i feel comfortable I can go back to the gym:D On the down side though, the wound is still there, so i have to be careful, and bent over rows/deads/squats/leg press etc are all out of the question until the wound completely goes. Wil have to take my time and be careful, but still its some good news so at least now i can build back up a little and then have a better base to start from when i start back 100%

:D

Just on a side note, wheres the best place to buy sup's, uk based :)

Sorry to be a pain :) What would you guy recommend protien wise and creatine wise.
Also is there any more sup's worth looking into :)

i would reccommend both protein and creatine yeah.

Presuming the above is not specific enough, which it should be because the reality of the matter is protein and creatine are base compounds, then one would assume you want to know WHICH to get.

Go to www.myprotein.co.uk DISCOUNT CODE MP34223 5% OFF!

under protein powders look up either whey protein concentrate or impact whey (the latter is 'better' but more expensive) then look for creatine caps, 200 or so will last you a while.

You only need to take creatine before and after training sessions, even then if it's creatine ethyl-ester, only 4-5g's of the stuff. Leave it out on non train days, anyone who says otherwise probably needs to pick up an A-Level biology book (skip to ADP substrate level phosphorylation).

Neither of the above are shortcuts to huge gains in a short period, for that you will need steroids. However both of the above are excellent for maximizing natural gains.

My only other tip is keep your goals in perspective, if you want to gain muscle and strength NOW then dont expect to have a beach-perfect body this summer, maybe plan for 2k9. If you want a beach bod just concentrate on cutting down and save the muscle gain for winter.

Good news indeed matey... take it easy though ;)

Thanks! It's been about four years since i was at the gym. Got my diet sorted, witch i no is the most important thing, was just looking for that little bit of extra help :) Feels good to be back! Hardest thing is woindering what i'd be like if i hadn't stoped going :) I have to take it fairly easy, i'm in the building trade so can't afford to get injured. thankyou again :)

it is good stuff, its the best tasting ive ever had and always gave me good results. If you get the big 5kg bags (usually 2 for £100) its not bad value, but having said which you can get 10kg of WPC tubbed from myprotein for £62

I'm dubious that you'd get any better results compared to the myprotein whey...

I've grown out of "nice tasting" whey now after having unflavoured for the last year+. They all taste sooooo sugary to me now!!

Not like when I started when I used to fill up on MEGA GAINER!!!

For protein Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey is regarded as one of the best, if not the best.

What do you mean it's the best? at what?

What do you mean results?

What exactly does this magic protein do? What does it have it in?

Just plain old whey will do the trick as far as protein supplements go in my honest opinion.

The "OMG 50 DIFFERENT TYPES BLENDED INTO ONE SUPER WHEY" products are a joke.
