You can either go and read up yourself or ask for opinions on boards like this, the rest is upto you. Personally I eat about 1 can of tuna every 2-3 weeks... I don't avoid it totally but I don't include it in my regular diet.

What's so special about tinned tuna anyway? No skin off my nose not eating it, doesn't even taste nice unless with loads of mayo ;)

I've been aware of it for a while but I was just curious as to how serious it was and why more people aren't aware.
Dude you could apply that logic to almost anything ;)

Though I will ask you this... if tuna is so good, after all it's fish and has no fat or carbs so it must be good right? Then why do the government warn pregnant mothers to be about eating it? They usually shy away from such warnings for fears of worrying people.

Is this mercury in Tuna lark as bad as it's made out to be?

I know there's a lot of common misconceptions about food but until I got into bodybuilding and nutrition i'd never heard anyone say a bad word about Tuna.

The thing about Mercury is its a long process, takes many years to build up the dangerous levels

Basically as you ingest mercury it accumulates that the base of the brain. Since mercury is a fairly dense metal this can add considerable mass to the head. Eventually at a critical mass your head literal "falls off"! :(

The government don't make people aware because Joe Public is much more likely to kill himself with fags, booze, drugs or a motor vehicle way before mercury gets him - its simply not cost effective

Well...at least I aint gona die by myself....I eat sometimes 3-4 tins weekly for protein....its handy at luchtimes when no time to cook. And Ive never heard of the tuna/mercury thing before:eek:

So thats why you call yourself Toxic!

Nah, i'm with you and A2Z, i eat around 7 tins of Tuna a week. Once a week i eat a massive chunk of fresh Tuna steak too...lovely!

Im just about to place an order with myprotien again and have noticed that whey seems to have come down in price? Swear it was a lot more last time I bought it :/

Anyway im going to get some "Creapture" I used mono before and I felt some good gains from it, I also tried CEE which seemed completely rubbish. Creapture is suppose to be the best? So its worth a go.

Also what are the MP Weight gain things like? Any good? Or am I just wasting £20. Sometimes its easier for me just to have a shake as it can be more convineant.

The wheys just as expensive as last time, sure you didn't get isolate or mpmax or something?
Creapure... where'd you get the t from?
Oats and whey with EAAs, EFAs etc is just as good :).

Was in response to "where'd you get that from" from the post above :)

Whats your views on creapture Chong? I think I read a thing by you on it the other day in here some where.

Ah ok, just thought you might have made a mistake as you was asking had the whey gone cheaper lol ;)

Creapure is the only creatine I'll take. I've tried other monohydrates and didn't get any results, I've tried CEE and same again.

It's not a magic potion though. I always say you should should train for a good few months at an intensity hard enough to deplete your own natural creatine pool. Then supplement with Creapure and you'll get results :)
