Forced to get a new PC

Next time you're thinking of spending more than £15 on a kids doll, give it to charity instead and buy yourself a barbie from poundland. It will make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

I must just say that the amount I paid for the OP Doll was £800, not £2000. The one with two swords was indeed £2000 though.

The way I see it is that in 5 years the PC parts in the OP will probably be worth about £5, whereas they should still be the same price :)

Anyway I'm off to bed guys, night!

Tell that to the collectors of beanie babies in the 90's.

I just don't get the satisfaction from spending so much money on a doll that looks utterly mundane.

Also, I am not particularly impressed by the FF dolls. They too look cheap and nasty. I am also a huge FF fan. :/ As for comparing PC hardware to dollies, I would rather get several years of use from my £800 hardware than a life-time of owning a doll.

Still, whatever floats your candle!

I don't know why you're all so surprised to see somebody with an odd collection.. This is an extremely geeky computer forum with a large base of diverse users..

Some even use Linux  :D

One of my ex GF's collected some of those dolls he has, yes they are expensive but it's time tested in japan, they sell, a lot. Rare ones gain price, she used to buy them, change them to her own style and sell for more.
Now she makes wigs/clothes/eyes and all that crap for em and sells on the bay and other places, for her I can see it being a productive(cash wise) hobbie.

She left a few behind when I left her, been in a box for years could probably .... MONEY.

I dont think anyone disputes these are somehow worth a lot of money and can appreciate in price.

What they are interested in what kind of freak over the age of 10 plays with dolls and makes them do kinky little poses.

Be honest how many times have you teased out a white one to your doll collection... Jesus say it again Doll collection

What I find interesting is the people who claim collecting figurines is weird, are the ones most interested in whether or not the OP pleasures himself in regards to his dolls, or considers posing it at a keyboard kinky. But hey ho.

The dolls? Meh, dont really see an issue there but where I do start to lose the trail is why someone would pay the price of a pretty good used CAR for a 10in tall plastic doll.

Robbie G isn't the one using 'downs syndrome kid' as an insult. Have a word with yourself.
Much worser has been said on this forum! You can pull your tounge out of his arse now, hes big enough to troll sorry look after himself :).
