I loved the thread anyway, good work. I dont understand why some people complain about someone else's hobbies, what they spend their money on is their own business.

To the OP, im taking my daughter to the Anime Expo in LA in July, we went a couple of years ago, if you havent ever been you would be in heaven at the place.
 
Dolls are one thing...fine, sort of. I just cannot understand why they need to be little schoolgirls dressed in skimpy clothes.

If my dad came into my room and found a collection of girl dolls, he'd be extremely disappoint! In fact someone parody this thread with that angry dad meme :p.

Nah I haven't, I would like to though. Any such events in the UK are generally pretty poor.

Strife212, you're nothing. There are people I know far worse than you. I won't say who or give links out for fear of embarrassing them. But there are far, far worse people out there.

I did think it was kind of odd nevertheless.

What a queer world we live in. Everyone is so liberal and tolerant, til something fashionable comes along to mock.

Don't see the attraction myself, but I'm sure lots of people see my hobby of spending a couple hours a week sitting in front a screen blowing pixel people up as odd.

It's nothing to do with having my tongue up Robbie G's arse, we have often locked horns on different subjects. However I've never seen him use things. like 'downs syndrome kid' as an insult. You do realise that the odds of posters here being affected by downs syndrome in one way or another is quite high? What a charming specimen of a human you are.

Don't really see a problem myself, people pay a hell of a lot more for paintings. Some people with a lot of money can pay even more for paintings and then just keep them in storage.

I don't think 2k for something limited edition is that bad to be honest, just depends on what your collecting. I bet there are coins out there that are worth far more to collectors and i'd probably rather look at the op's items than coins.

Probably wouldn't have done done the whole photo's of the dolls activities though....
